Coffee with Character: One Stamp, Three Ways with Designer Emily!

Hello Friends! Happy Monday and October! Welcome to this week’s One Stamp, Three Ways post, I’m so happy you are here! There’s been so much card making fun with National Coffee Day, how about three more designs with the Coffee with Character stamp set (with help from its friends; Matching Dies and Caffeinated Sentiments). The Coffee with Character set is HUGE (6×8) and has a collection of whimsical and classic coffee and tea images for all sorts of card designs and projects. Grab yourself a nice warm or iced mug of coffee, tea or cocoa and try not to dive into a yummy glazed and sprinkled pink, orange or purple donut…or give in and enjoy! I know I did 🙂

Pattern Stamping

I thought it would be fun to create three cards with the same hand-stamped pattern. To create the pattern paper, I used the delicious donut & coffee bean images and the bowtie and heart images. The Copics used on the cards are: BG15, BG32, BG34, BV000, BV00, B00, E30, E31, E33(Donuts), E70, E25, E37, (Coffee Beans and Coffee), R02, RV13, RV55, V04. I added sprinkles and icing to the donuts with a Signo White Pen. For all the Coffee Beans, I added two layers of Nuvo Crystal Glaze for dimension and pop.

Frappy Birthday to You

Oh-My-Goodness! This card makes me so happy.  I cannot wait to send this to a special person who loves a Green Tea Iced-Frappy! What makes the Coffee with Character dies and stamps so much fun are all the different Coffee and Tea Concoctions you can make. Did you know you can grab the set as a BUNDLE in the shop? I added fun little details to this card including: Stripe Vellum, Gelly Roll Shimmer Pen & Sprinkles on the VersaFine Clair Purple Delight Whipped Cream. YUM!

Sending a Little Hug in a Mug

To create the circle pattern, I positioned a circle stencil over the base card and stamped the images. Then I traced the circle with a black ink pen. I stamped the sentiment on two white strips of paper and adhered them under the circle image. I die cut and stamped a cute coffee mug, added a heart and then adhered it to a black circle from a 1.5 inch circle punch.

Latte Thanks

Why not create two backgrounds and layer them together 🙂 To bring in more Coffee fun, I stamped a base with coffee images in Memento London Fog ink to give it a subtle background effect. After adhering all of the pieces together, I added some Fruity Pebbles embellishments. This card reminds me of a Retro Diner scene where they deliver coffee and donuts on roller skates.

And there you have it, friends! Three ways to use the fun Coffee with Character & Matching Die Set. Have a wonderful week ahead and I’ll see you next Monday. Until then, you can catch me on Instagram @popsofpaper or on my blog: www.popsofpaper.blogspot.com. Don’t forget to stop by the Trinity Stamps Shop, You Tube and Instagram for more inspiration from the design team!

Big Paper Hugs!
