Magic School Bus

Hey there, Katie here today.  Do you recall the Magic School Bus with Ms. Frizzle? Well after my last school bus card I had an idea to make this one, so I went for it and it is pretty cute.

I made this by starting with my background.  First I cut a bit of paper and distressed it using my Blending Buddy and Distress Inks (blues, yellows and oranges).  I also used the Crater Layers Stencil and Interplanetary Stencil.   Once I had the background as planned, I started on the foreground. I used the Otter Space Stamp & Die Set, the Let’s Ride Together Stamps and Die Set and the Classroom Cuties Stamp and Die Set.  I stamped them all and colored them with Copics and cut them out.  I stamped the heart cord, and hand drew the others so they were all connected.  I used the fishbowl from the Otter Space, I used a small circle die to start cutting out the middle and then finished the job with snips.  Then I colored the base and added acetate behind and popped it out with foam tape and put it on their heads when I mounted them on the card.  I used the fish to drive the bus.

Here is a close up of each of the sides of the card so you can see the kiddos and the bus.

This would definitely make school more interesting!  I would take this journey for sure.  What about you?

I hope you like this card and thank you for visiting me today!
