April Release Sneak Peek: Happy Birthday Spring Chicken

Hi everyone!

We are continuing with the sneak peeks from the April release that goes live on April 11th (Tuesday of next week). Today I am introducing two new stamp sets: Spring Chicken (there are also coordinating dies, that I actually used for my card) and the new background stamp called Reverse Floral! 

To make the card start by stamping the images you would like to use on watercolor paper. I always stamp extra to have for future projects. If you are using watercolors like me, make sure you stamp with watercolor friendly ink, if not make sure your ink is suitable for the coloring medium you are using.

Stamp the background on piece of pool paper using pool colored ink. I will not use the entire stamped piece, but will save the remainder for another project. 

Color the images you like to use and die cut using the coordinating dies.

Cut 2” x 4 1/4” piece from the stamped Reverse Floral piece and adhere it on the top side of a A2 piece of white card stock.

Stamp sentiment from the Spring Chicken set to the left side right below the patterned piece of card stock. Adhere the chicken and the chick using foam tape. 

Adhere the panel to a top folded white card base and you are done!
