April Release Sneak Peek – Day 4
Hello, crafty friends and welcome back for more sneak peeks of the April release!! The release will be available On Tuesday, April 11th!! I have a feeling that the goodies in today’s sneak peek will be super popular!!
I began by die-cutting all of the pieces for my mug from tan, brown and white cardstock using the new Beary Cute Layered Mug Die Set and Layered Mug Add-on Cat & Dog Die Set. I added some shading with Antique Linen, Tea Dye and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Inks using the Layered Mug Stencil Set.
EEEEkkkkk!! How cute is this?!? I adhered all of the die-cuts together with liquid glue, except the muzzle and ears were popped up with foam adhesive strips. I added a couple of Black Eyed Bead Baubles to the eyes and some sparkle to the whipped cream with a glitter pen.
For the background, I blended InkOn3 Trinity Teal Ink onto a panel of aqua cardstock with a Blending Buddy Brush.
The sentiment, from the Simply Sentimental: Hello Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Trinity Teal Ink, then cut out with its Coordinating Die.
The background panel was trimmed slightly and adhered to an A2 white card base with liquid glue.
The mug was then adhered to the background with liquid glue.
Lastly, the sentiment was popped up with foam adhesive strips.
Oh my goodness!! I just think this is sooooo adorable!! Of course, I had to make the mug in the colors of my pups!!
