Hello Crafty Friends!! 

Larissa here today to share a Set of Cards using some of the NEW Background Stamps to add some Texture and Patterns to create my own Patterned Paper!! You can use Background Stamps in a Number of ways, but these techniques help to get even more Bang for your Buck, plus add so much to a Simple Card Design!! You’ll also ALWAYS have the Color/Design you need as you can customize them for the Project your Creating!! 

I Started by Stamping and Embossing the NEW Polkadot Pattern Background Stamp with Versa Mark Ink and Embossed with some White Embossing Powder!! SWOON!! I LOVE the Tone on Tone Embossing and in in real life the Texture is AMAZNG and adds a lot to the Card Panel!! Next I De Cut the Panel using the Clean Cut Layers Rectangle Set A Die Set!! I Also Die Cut another Panel from some Black Cardstock to layer behind the Embossed Panel!! It really helps to make the Embossed Panel POP!! 

Next I Stamped some Colored Cardstock using the NEW Double Line Check Background Stamp and some Rainforest Ink, for a Tone on Tone Design!! Then I Die Cut the Panel down using the Clean Cut Layers Circles Set A Die Set!! 

Then I Stamped and Embossed the NEW Here’s to Brew Stamp Set Images using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Embossing Powder!! Then I used Copic Markers to color the Images!! 
Beer: YR20, YR24 & YR27              Glass: N0, N3 & N5              Hand: E00, E11 & E13
Then I Die Cut the Images out using the coordinating NEW Here’s to Brew Die Set!! I added some White Gel Pen Highlights and some Glossy Accents to the Drops on the Mug for some Dimension and Shine!! 

Next I Stamped and Embossed the “Cheers” Sentiment using Versa Fine Black Onyx Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder and then used the coordinating Die to Die Cut the Sentiment out!! I Adhered the Circle to the Card Panel using Foam Tape for some Dimension!! Then I added the Images on top again with some Foam Tape for Dimension!! Then I added the Sentiment to the Embossed Panel using some Crafty Gluefriend Liquid Adhesive!! 

I LOVE how the different Textures and Patterns work together and it’s FUN being able to create the Colors of Patterned Paper that you need/want for a certain Project!! 

I Stamped and Embossed the “Hoppy Beer-thday” Sentiment using Rainforest Ink and WoW Clear Gloss Embossing Powder!! Then I Die Cut the Sentiment out using the coordinating Die and adhered it to the inside of the card using Crafty Gluefriend Liquid Adhesive!! It finishes the card off perfectly!! 

Here’s another Card I created using the exact same process, only the Different Image and Sentiment along with different Cardstock Colors from a similar Design using the same Stamps!! This time though I Stamped and Embossed the Image onto some Patterned Paper and Fussy Cut t out adding some Copic Markers for some Shading!! Then I added some Glossy Accents to the Coffee for a realistic Look!! 

I LOVE that just by changing the Colors and the Sentiments, you can create these Designs for ANY Occasion!! 

So there you have it a Set of Cards using some of the NEW Background Stamps to add some Texture and Patterns to create your own Patterned Papers!! I hope I’ve INSPIRED you to give these Techniques a try to create the different Patterns in the Colors/Textures that you NEED for your next Project!!
