Thanks For the Great Jeans Dad
Hello, Trinity friends and happy Thursday!! Brenda here with a card featuring the Smarty Pants Stamp Set that would be perfect for Father’s Day!! The first thing that popped into my head when I saw this set was all of the jeans hanging on a clothes line, so that’s what I tried to do!!
I started by stamping the pants and sentiment from the Smarty Pants Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored the pants with Copics, added highlights with a white gel pen, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I love that this set has sentiments that work for many occasions!!
Next, I blended Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Ink on the bottom of a white cardstock panel that was die-cut with a die from the A2 Clean Cut Layers Set B Die Set with a Blending Buddy brush. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide with the Puffy Cloud Stencil and another Blending Buddy for the sky.
The Double Line Check Background Stamp was stamped onto a panel of white cardstock with blue ink. It was then die-cut, along with a panel of blue cardstock, with dies from the A2 Clean Cut Layers Set B Die Set.
I adhered some twine to the back of the ink-blended panel, then adhered a bow with some liquid adhesive. All of the die-cut rectangles were layered together and adhered with liquid glue.
The jeans were all popped up with adhesive foam strips and the sentiment was adhered with liquid glue.
