Hi Everyone, Mirella here today.
As most of you are aware, we have a new release coming to Trinity Stamps on June 26th, and boy – you will not want to miss it! Trust me when I say with absolute honesty – it’s an amazing one!
I’m sharing a little sneak peek into the new release with you today. Hands up, who loves underwater scenes?
I started with ink blending the background – I used various blue inks, my Blending Buddies and the slimline Space Swirl stencil . I love the versatility of this stencil, I have already used it to create a galaxy, a funky colourful & artsy background, and now water. Isn’t that great? For a more “watery” feeling, I added some splatters with both clear water, and diluted Liquid Pixie Dust, which you can now also get in the Trinity Store.
Next, I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the images – these are a mix of images from three new sets: Shark Bait, Shellabration and You Lift Me Up. I really like it when it’s possible to mix and match images from various sets! For some additional interest, I added Glossy Accents on the little boy’s mask.
The “Birthday fishes” sentiment also comes from the new Shellabraton set, and the “sending” part (plus the stitched sentiment strip) is from my all time favourite Sending Hugs die set. I chose a glittery blue paper for it, so that it’s somewhat hidden in the scene, yet it sparkles and catches the eye.
Once everything was assembled and adhered, and the panel was on the card base, all that was left to do was adding some embellishments, of course – this time, I went for the Shiny Baubles embellishment mix.
And here it is, a fun and cute birthday underwater scene, perfect for any recipient – it would work for kids and adults alike, and it totally suits any gender, too!
Come back again to see more sneaks, and I can’t wait for you all to see the whole new release! We’re almost there! YAY! Let the celebrations begin!
Big crafty hugs,
P.S. As always, a list of all the products used on this card can be found on my blog. Links to the new products will be added once the new release is live –> I’ve added them now!
