August Crafty Troop Challenge #6

Hello Crafty Friends! Davina here with Trinity Stamps to introduce the August’s Crafty Troop Challenge #6. The August Crafty Troop Challenge is Summer. So whip out your Trinity Stamps and get busy creating a Summer themed card to link into the InLinkz button at the end of this post for your chance to win.  

The card I’m sharing today uses the new Bunny Burrow stamps and dies. I wanted to use every image in the stamp set, so I made a tall slimline scene. I started by stamping and coloring all of the images with copic markers  I was going to create a summer night scene so I went with darker color choices then I normally would. Next I die cut all of the images using the coordinating dies before adding white dot highlights. 

Using Slimline Series Stitched Card Panels I cut a Bristol smooth panel and two green cardstock panels for the grass layers. I used grassy border dies to cut several layers from the green.  Then inked the edges with Distress oxide inks. Then I inked a nighttime sky, making sure to create two little glowing areas where my fireflies would be mounted. I gave everything a glittery splatter Before adhering my images. I popped the short grass layer on foam tape to give a 3D effect, and tucked a snail from the Mouse House set inside the open door. These sets were drawn to work together, so I can’t wait to see what great scenes you create with them.
