Where Flowers Bloom…

Hello fellow cardmakers!! Brenda, here for my weekly Thursday post. Thanks for joining me today!!

I just adore the Hopeful Flowers stamp set!! (Plus, it’s a great price!!) I love trying to figure out different ways to use it. Since one of the arrangements is curved, I thought maybe it would work to form it into a heart shape…and it did!!

I started off by stamping the flowers in the Hopeful Flowers stamp set several times and the watering can once with Versmark Ink. After heat embossing them in gold, I colored them with Zig Clean Color Markers and cut them out with the Hopeful Flowers Coordinating Dies. The sentiment, also from Hopeful Flowers, was gold heat embossed toward the bottom of a panel of kraft cardstock. I splattered gold watercolor paint onto the kraft panel and ran the brush around the edges. The die-cuts were formed into a heart shape and adhered with dimensional adhesive. The watering can was also popped up with foam tape in the center of the heart. I used Pale Gold Nuvo Drops to fill in around and inside the heart and that’s it!!

That’ll do it for me today!! I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to stop by!!

See you next Thursday!!!

  1. Wow! Gorgeous card! The flowers are colored so beautifully, and with the gold embossing, it reminds me of stained glass.
