Wallflowers: 1 Stamp Set, 3 Cards
Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Trinity Stamps sharing a card using one of the newest stamp & dies from the birthday release called Wallflower.
This is a 4×6 stamp set with 6 floral images, 3 types of flowers with 2 versions each. It definitely packs a punch. Seeing that, I wanted to create three different cards with each of the flowers. There’s a lot of details in these flowers. On the day I created these cards, I frankly just didn’t want to color them! I went with just pouncing ink on all the florals and this worked very quickly.
CARD 1:
For my first card, I wanted to create a circle frame of roses. I alternated the adhesives, some directly onto the card panel and some on foam tape for dimension. The sentiment was heat embossed onto a skinny strip laid across in the middle.
CARD 2:
I wanted these florals to surround a wider piece of black cardstock. Since the sizes of the florals are a little different from each other, the bottom florals looked more full and really added to the effect.
CARD 3:
These florals were very full so I wanted to decorate the corners. Originally, this was planned to be a portrait card but because the sentiment wouldn’t work well, I changed it to landscape. Overall, the effect was much better.
Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you get inspired to create.
I also have a video showing the process of how I put these three cards together:
Come back again soon for more inspiration and ideas! Happy Crafting!
These are beautiful Jeannie!
