Shenanigans…

Happy Saturday and Happy Winter Solstice for those in the Northern Hemisphere!  Katie here and today I have a card for you that celebrates mid-winter.

I LOVE these characters from the Winter Friends stamp set and coordinating Winter Friends die set.  They are so cute and perfect for today’s theme.  I colored and die cut them and coupled them with the 10mm Puffin Popper embellishments which are absolutely adorable!  There are also mini ones called the Penguin Popper that are just as cute!  I was going for a northern lights type of scene.  I used the Slimline Scenic Border die set to create my snow drifts.  The sky is a combination of distress inks applied with my Trinity Blending Buddy, a star stencil and some glitter gel. I added a little green paper behind to pull out the green in the sky.  I added the sentiment on a white strip on the front.

I went up to the mountains last weekend and there was snow, but here it is rain, rain, rain.  Which we probably need so I suppose it is good.  My family got together to have an early Christmas celebration and we definitely engaged in some shenanigans!  It was fun.

OK friends, I hope you enjoyed my post today. If you need a full list of supplies, you can head to my blog.
