Pet Sympathy Card
Hello, Trinity friends and happy Thursday!! I hope you’re all doing well!!
Sympathy cards are some of the most difficult cards to create, but I feel that they are so important to send when someone loses a loved one. The Cloud Companions Stamp Set is perfect to create a card for the loss of a pet.
I began by stamping the images from the Cloud Companions Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Momento London Fog ink. I usually stamp in black ink, but I wanted a softer look here, so I used gray. The Cloud Companions Stamp Set includes images for both dogs and cats. I colored the cloud shapes with Copic markers, then used the Coordinating Dies to cut them out.
I used the dies included in the Cloud Companions Die Set to cut the solid rainbow shape from white cardstock and the stripes from colored cardstock. There is also a rainbow stamp in the set, if you would rather stamp and color it.
The stripes were adhered to the solid shape with liquid glue.
The Puffy Cloud Layers Stencil was used to add the clouds to the card base using Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink and a Blending Buddy Brush.
The sentiment, also from the Cloud Companions Stamp Set, was white heat embossed onto black cardstock, then cut out with the Coordinating Die.
The rainbow was adhered to the card base with liquid glue.
The sentiment and clouds were popped up with foam adhesive strips. Sparkle White Hearts Flat Confetti was the perfect finishing touch.
Thank you so much for stopping by today!! Have a great Thursday and I’ll see you next week!!
This is just perfect!
