One Stamp, Three Ways-Picture Sentiments

Hello Friends! Happy Monday and welcome to this month’s One Stamp Three Ways post. I’m sharing three playful projects using the fun Picture Sentiment 4×8 Stamp Set. I created two bright and cheerful cards along with some lunch “tokens” that I’ll be adding to my daughter’s lunchbox as a little hello and puzzle to solve. The designs in this set are so cute and I love pulling together different sentiment puzzles to solve.

Tank-Full For you

For my Thankful for You card, I stamped and colored the Fish Tank and Fuel Gauge and then added the remaining sentiment with the typed-font “For” and “You” on a stitched rectangle. I did some simple Copic Coloring and the layered the stamped rectangle to layered rectangles in black and rainbow patterned paper. For a little extra pop, I added a Cinnamon Red Jelly Drop Heart Embellishment.

Hearts of Love

This card was inspired by all the heart quilts my Mom used to make when I was growing up. I stamped the heart image with Copic Safe black ink and colored them in bright rainbow colors (RV02/04, R35, YR04/04, Y13/15, G02/03, B14/16). Then I added patterns to each of the hearts using a white gel pen. I added a small strip of black/white striped washi and then stamped the “I LoveYou” sentiment to the bottom right corner of the card panel. To finish the card, I adhered the stamped panel to a polka dot patterned paper and a black card stock base.

Lunch Tokens

At first I was going to create several lunch notes for my kiddo, but then I thought I would create little “tokens” that I’m going to add to here lunch each day so she has a fun little puzzle to solve at the end of the week. I also couldn’t help but sing the ‘Friends” theme song the entire time making these cute lunch tokens “I’ll be there (here) for You”—OWL BEE HERE 4 EWE…LOL!!

To create the lunch tokens, I used some nesting circle dies to create white and black layered circles. Then I stamped the images to the center for the white circles and colored with Copic markers. Then I adhered the stamped and colored images with foam dimensional tape to the layered circle. For a little extra pop, I added a Cinnamon Red Jelly Drop Heart Embellishment to the EWE and Glossy Accents to the OWL and BEE googly eyes.

So there we are friends, three bright and cheerful projects using the playful and super fun Picture Sentiment 4×8 Stamp Set. I hope this post inspires you to stretch your stamps in fun new ways. See you next week!
