No Trout About It…

Happy Thursday, Trinity friends!! I hope your week is going well!!

I have a fun card to share today that I’m going to save for our wedding anniversary next year!! If I can hold onto for that long…I may end up giving it him sooner!! Hubby loves to fish, so this will be perfect for him!

I began by stamping the adorable images and sentiments from the Cozy Bear Boater Stamp Set onto white cardstock with InkOn3 Blackout Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added highlights with a white gel pen, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I die-cut the “waves” four times from heavyweight white cardstock, then stacked and adhered them together.

Next, I die-cut a panel of blue cardstock with the second largest die in the Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack Die Set. (One of my most-used die sets and it’s ON SALE!! I LOVE the embossed edge!!) The cloud die in the Slimline Series: Rainbow Builder Die Set was cut from white cardstock and the darker blue panel was cut with a die in the Cozy Bear Boater Die Set. I also die-cut the clouds and water with the rectangle die to get the embossed edges.

The blue background panel was adhered to an A2 white top-folding cardbase, then the clouds and water were adhered to it.

Some of the die-cuts were adhered with liquid adhesive. The bear, fish on the stringer and sentiments were all popped up with foam tape.

The Bubble Blow Out Embellishments were the perfect finishing touch!!

Thanks so much for hanging out with me for a bit today!! Have a great day and I’ll see you next Thursday!!

Brenda
