Mini Slimline Hello Boo
Hello there! Christine here. Today I wanted to show you that you can easily use the Slimline Background stamp sets to make 2 mini slimline cards! I chose the Slimline Boo’s Background stamp & Hello Boo-tiful sentiment die and combined it with the Clean & Simple Mini Slimline Panels die set and the previous scalloped panel from the mini Slimline (Narrow Card and Bookmark Die with Envelope).
To make the card:
- First I die cut a scalloped panel with the Narrow Card and Bookmark Die with Envelope out of the new Slimline Paper Pad in Autumn Rainbow.
- I then die cut a piece of orange cardstock in my stash with the Clean & Simple Mini Slimline Panels die set. With this same die, I die cut 6 separate panels (enough to make 2 cards!) out of one large stamped slimline panel that had been stamped with Slimline Boo’s Background stamp. I think it is easiest to do one large stamped panel and then die cut those with Clean & Simple Mini Slimline Panels die set than vice versa (die cutting blank white cardstock and then stamping the ghosts on each mini panel).
- I colored each of the ghosts in a manner inspired by team member Cassie Trask, she used more of a grey blue and I used a very pale blue (B0000). I added glitter paste with a paint brush onto each area that I colored with blue.
- Finally I die cut “Hello Boo” 3 times out of white cardstock and 1 time out of glitter cardstock with the Hello Boo-tiful sentiment die. It is easy to cut off the “tiful” part so that it fits onto the card.
I hope that you are inspired to try to make some mini slimlines! The new Mini Slimline die is so much fun!
Adorbs ghosts! I have not gotten this mini slimline yet; but now I am leaning towards it! Such a great card! That paper pack is filled with fun!
How cute are those?!
