June Sneak Peeks- Day 1- Celebration Cupcake and Number Candles

Hello there! Welcome to the first day of sneak peek for Trinity Stamps gigantic 5th birthday release!  The release will be in the shop on June 8th and there will be sneak peeks daily from the DT until then!  In honor of Trinity Stamps 5th birthday, I made a birthday card for …… you guessed it Trinity Stamps!!!  I’ve been honored to be a part of this wonderful company since the beginning- I love being a part of the DT.

Today I’m sharing a sneak peek of the new Celebration Cupcake stamp & die and the new Number Candles stamp & die set there is so much that I could not share today, but fear not, Trinity Stamps will be having a two day hop featuring lots of special guests and a look at all the products!

I started by making a background by stamping the Double Line Check Background stamp with yellow ink onto a light yellow cardstock (tone on tone). I knew that I wanted the cupcake to the the star of the card, but I wanted the background to be festive- the background was made by stamping once, shifting slightly and then stamping again- I love how it turned out. I then did some ink blending with distress oxide ink in scattered straw to create even more variation in the color.

I stamped the cupcake and sentiment with the Celebration Cupcake stamp in brown ink (that is copic color friendly) and then stamped it again with heat embossing pink glitter powder (just the icing) and then just set to work coloring with a few shades of pink copics (RV10, RV13, RV17) and then a pale shell color for the cake part and brown shades (E31, E34) for the cupcake wrapper. I then die cut the cupcake with the Celebration Cupcake die.

I wanted to create a shaker card so I made a thin gold border out of matte gold cardstock I had in my stash, put some foam adhesive the back, added the lovely Lemon Chiffon embellishment mix and sealed up the card. I then stamped and die cut the number five with the Number Candles stamp & die set with gold embossing powder and the same matte gold cardstock that I used for the frame.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you will take part in all the celebrations happening on Facebook and Instagram!
