Joy

Hello Trinity Stamps’ friends and welcome the “Ornament Week”! Silvia’s here with you today!

This week the Design team is showcasing the “Large Ornament Shaker” die set and this is the card I made for this spacial event.

I started cutting a panel from watercolor paper with the biggest die from the “Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack” set and I inked the embossing edges of this die with ground espresso Distress archival ink before cutting it.

I colored the panel with antique linen, tea dye and frayed burlap Distress spray stain and I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink. I added a pattern on the background stamping in several times a sentiment from the “Simply Sentimental-Holidays” stamp set in gathered twigs Distress ink and water.

I splattered with white and antique bronze Distress paints and I set it aside.

I used the “Large Ornament Shaker” die set to die cut several greenery from green cardstock in different shades and I added some Distress snowfall grit paste and clear rock candy glitter on them. I also used this die draw a circle in the center of the background with a pencil.

At this poit I started assembling my Christmas wreath using the “Crafty Gluefrinds” and I added some “red berries” from the “Boughs of Holly Seasonal” confetti mix.

For the sentiment I die cut the script “Joy” from red metallic cardstock using the “Modern Embossed Alphabet” die set and I glued it inside of the wreath.

Here are two close-ups.

That’s all for today. I hope you’ll enjoy the card as much as I do.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

I wish you an amazing day. Big hugs, Silvia.
