Fall Succulents
Hi Trinity Tribe!! This is Shanna here today with a card that is channeling my dreams of Autumn arriving soon!
On today’s card I combined the new release Succulent Sparkle with my all-time favorite caffeinated set Coffee with Character. Tell me you aren’t craving a PSL now!?! I did some messy ink smooshing with distress inks to create my background, dabbing all 4 colors on an acrylic block and spritzing it with water, then “stamping” the block on my paper. I love this technique, and use it frequently!
I stamped my images using Inkon3 Blackout ink on Canson mixed media paper, and watercolored then using the same 4 distress inks, in addition to a couple green Zig real brush pens to keep my color palette all tied in together. After they dried, I fussy cut them out and mounted them to my card base. My cups were popped up using some foam squares for dimension, and the sentiment was stamped using distress ink as well to keep with the same colors.
With the kids back in school this week, and summer coming to a close I find myself anxiously awaiting some #sweaterweather!!! How about you??
