Autumn Greetings
Hi everyone!
Ilina here! Today my cards features one of my favorite techniques and that is partial die cutting. I decided to use the Pumpkinheads layering stencil, along with the coordinating dies and Beautiful Breeze stamp set for my sentiment.
To make the card I started with 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″ piece of white card stock and ink blended the pumpkin along with the stem. I use post it notes to mask off the area around so I don’t accidentally transfer ink from the stencil where I don’t want it to go.
Once I had the entire pumpkin stenciled and made sure the ink is dry using a pencil I drew a line where I want that partial die cutting to start and end. Secured the die and ran it through my die cutting machine making sure that the top plate was only covering the area I wanted to be cut.
Once cut, I trimmed along the penciled line and erased any remaining pencil marks. Trimmed 4 1/4″ wide piece of Winter hues slimline patterned paper and assembled onto top folding white note card.
Next I stamped sentiment from Beautiful Breeze set and added few Amber Glow rhinestones to finish it off.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
