24 Carrot Cafe

Hey everybody!  Katie here today with a happy spring card that will hopefully make you smile.

Honestly it doesn’t get much cuter does it?!  I’d stop at the 24 Carrot Cafe if I could se this cute guy.

This card was pretty easy, but the first step is using double stencils.

First, cut your White base to 4 X 5.25.  Then take your A2 Foundations Oval stencil set and use the smallest oval.  Adhere it to the middle using removable adhesive.

Then layer your Bed of Roses Stencil on top and start adding your distress oxides with your Blending Buddy.   I used Crushed Olive.

Once that layer was done, I added the next stencil layer on top.  The great things about these stencils is that they are etched so you can line things up perfectly.  For the next layer, I used Worn Lipstick.

I wanted a little more depth, so I came back in with some Persimmon ink and put a touch into the center of each flower.  Here is how this layer turned out.

I stamped the sentiment form the Just for You Stamp set and set this aside.  Now you stamp and color your image from the Dir-Tea Bunny Stamp set.  I used E41, E43, RV21, YG23, B000, B01, B02.  I used a black glaze pen for the bunny’s nose and a white highlight on top.  Then I used the coordinating Dir-Tea Bunny Die to cut out the bunny and cup.  I placed the bunny on the card using foam tape.  I added carrots to the cut and all around the bunny.  Lastly, I mounted this layer on a peach layer of CS, followed by a olive green base.

Well I hope you like it!  I had a ton of fun making it.

Thanks for visiting! ~Katie
