You’ll Always Be…

Hi everyone, Von Marie here from Vonmariedesign and I so happy to be on the blog today! I have a fun Tea Cup Shaped Card to share with you today using New Products from Trinity Stamp’s Newest Release! On this project, I wanted to use this Amazing Trini-Tea Cup Card Die Set. I also knew I wanted to ink blend it and use other favorites from Trinity Stamps.

I used a sheet of white cardstock 110lb. and ran the Trini-Tea Cup Card Die through my Die Cutting Machine. I then grabbed some dye ink that is a bit of Red and Pink. I used a Blending Buddy Brush and started inking up my Tea Cup. I had to use some tape to mask areas like the top that I didn’t want ink on. I just used some yellow tape from my stash that holds well but will not rip your project.

I then used the Quilted Pattern Trio Stencils for the Polka Dot Stencil with the same dye ink just with a heavier hand and I was able to get a tone on tone look. Next, I cut out the tea bag die with white cardstock and paper pieced it with a scrap of paper that I had used the Slimline Quilted Cover die on. I just cut the excess off. I ink blended it the same colored ink to match. I then used the New Slimline Paper Pack-Rainbow Brights with the Red and Pink pattern on it for the heart die. I added the heart die with a foam square. I love this Heart Die!

And of course I had to use this adorable bear from the Best-Tea Party stamp set. I used Copic markers to color her in and had stamped her with hybrid black ink on white cardstock. I cut her out with the Best-Tea Party Dies. For the slice of Lemon I used the Rainbow Brights Paper Pad using the pattern paper with the yellow dots and then I used a yellow alcohol marker to give it a little bit of shading. I also glued it to white cardstock and fussy cut around it. I wanted some dimension.

Next, I stamped the sentiment from the same Best-Tea Party stamp Set in the inside of my card with the same dye ink. I love sentiments stamped in the inside of the card.

And Finally, I tucked my tea bag into the rim of the tea cup. I glued my lemon slice onto my Tea Cup Card front and popped my bear up with foam squares. I then added White Gel accents with my gel pen and that completes my Tea Cup Shaped Card. This card fits perfectly in a A2 Sized Envelope and it’s ready to be mailed. I hope you enjoyed my card for today.
