Winter Wishes with Cocoa the Gnome

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! Have you checked the new Holiday release yet? I am loving all the GNOMES, and everything else. But especially the gnomes.

Today I decided to use the 3×2 stamp Cocoa the Gnome. He’s the cutest with the penguin mug in his hands. And also has a great price point and also there is a little set of coordinating dies both for the image and the sentiment.

I used also the Skinny Stripes background stamp to make the patterned piece that I added to the side of my panel.

To make the card I started by stamping the Skinny Stripes background with pigment white ink on red cardstock. I also stamped the gnome image on alcohol marker friendly white cardstock (I like using X-press it for all my alcohol marker coloring) using alcohol marker friendly ink. If you would like to use another coloring medium please make sure you use appropriate ink and cardstock. Color the image and die cut (I used Copic markers for my coloring)

Next trim the pattern to about 1 1/2”” wide and 5 1/4” tall. Also cut a skinny strip from glitter black cardstock. Create top folding A2 white card base and cut piece of white cardstock 3 or 3 1/4” x 5 1/4” (depending how wide you would like that strip to be).

To assemble the card start with a panel of white cardstock measuring 4” x 5 1/4”. Adhere the stripped piece to the right side, next add the white panel and add the strip to create more contrast between the white and the red. Using foam adhesive adhere the gnome. Stamp the sentiment.

Using foam tape adhere the panel to the top folded note card. Add few Pearly Gates Confetti embellishment mix to finish off the card.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
