Joy Holiday Card – Holiday Candle & Botanical
Hello, Trinity friends!! Brenda here with a festive holiday card featuring the Holiday Candle & Botanical Die Set to share with you today!! This set is so versatile!! You can create a candle arrangement, wreath, swags and more!!
I began by die-cutting all the pieces in the Holiday Botanical & Candle Die Set from two colors of green, red, brown and brushed gold cardstock.
Next, I die-cut the “J” & “Y” from red & green cardstock. I adhered the letters and the wreath together with liquid glue and added the holly to the letters. The poinsettia & bow were popped up with foam adhesive strips.
Texture paste was applied to white cardstock through the Checkered Background Add-On Trees Stencil. Once it was dry, I die-cut it with the second largest die in the Clean Cut Layers Rectangle Set A Die Set, along with a panel of red cardstock from the largest die in the same set.
The sentiment, from the Insider Sentiments – Christmas Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with red ink. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.
The rectangle die-cuts were adhered together, then added to an A2 card base.
The wreath was adhered with liquid glue, while the letters and sentiment block were popped up with adhesive foam strips.
I added a bit of Star Dust Stickles to the berries and this card was finished.
