VIDEO: 2 For 1 Birthday Shaker Cards

Good morning!  Jessica Frost-Ballas here with a video sharing how to use one slimline stencil to create 2 shaker birthday cards!  The Layered Balloons stencil set is intended for a large slimline card but you can get an A2 and a 3″x8″ slimline card from the stenciled panel!

I placed the Layered Balloons stencil at the top of an 8.5″x11″ page of white cardstock and blended cracked pistachio, mermaid lagoon, wilted violet, and peacock feathers distress oxide ink over the cardstock with my Blending Brushes.  Once it was dry I added splatters of water and shimmer spray.  I also splattered it with watered down wilted violet and peacock feathers distress oxide ink and let it dry completely.  

I trimmed one panel to 3″x8″ and the other to 4.25″x5.5″. I stamped sentiments from Simply Sentimental: Birthday for each card.  Then I used the Full A2 Acetate Shaker Pockets and Slimline Acetate Shaker Pockets to create shaker cards.  I filled each one with the Bokeh Stars Flat Confetti Embellishment Mix and Teal Shaker Pop Embellishment Mix.

And that’s it! Two for one! 🙂  You could easily change up the colors to fit the recipient or occasion! Thank you so much for stopping by and have an amazing weekend!
