Simple Stenciled Sympathy Card

Good morning! Jessica Frost-Ballas here with a simple stenciled sympathy card. It’s never fun to need one of these cards but I like to try to keep some on hand for when they’re needed. This is a simple, meaningful design that can be easily mass-produced so that you have a little stash for those sad times. You can find a video tutorial for this card below or at this link.
To start, I used Blending Buddy Ink Blending Brushes to blend a rainbow of distress oxide inks over the Paw Print Heart Stencil. I used picked raspberry, squeezed lemonade, cracked pistachio, salvaged patina, salty ocean, and shaded lilac oxide inks and blended back and forth until I had a smooth rainbow transition between the colors. Once the panel was dry I added a few spritzes of shimmer spray to give it a soft sparkle.
Next I die-cut the Paw Print Shaker Tag from gold glitter cardstock. I used the same gold glitter cardstock and white cardstock to die-cut the Simply Sentimental – Friend word as well. Then I stamped a sentiment from A Sentiment For (Almost) Everything and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder before die-cutting it with the coordinating die.
I ended up die-cutting the friend outline and the sentiment outline two more times from white cardstock and layered them to create a thick chipboard like sentiment. Then I adhered the pawprint to the stenciled panel and added the sentiments on top. To finish the card I added a sprinkle of sparkling clear sequins.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have an amazing weekend!
