Thanks So Mush

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Trinity friends!! I hope your week is going well!!

I have a fun I have a fun thank you card to share with you today!! I needed something a little more on the masculine side and I thought this fit the bill!!

I started by gold heat embossing the mushroom scene and sentiment from the Porta-hello Stamp Set onto kraft cardstock and coloring it with colored pencils.

I cut them out with the Coordinating Dies, along with two more of each from heavyweight white cardstock. I stacked and adhered them together with the kraft one on top.

Next, I die-cut the A2 Quilted Coverplate Die from kraft cardstock and adhered it to a white, top folding card base.

I adhered the stacked die-cuts to the center of the quilted panel.

The adorable Feeling Mushy Sprinkles were adhered onto the background.

I added dots to the mushroom cap with a white gel pen to match the sprinkles and this card was finished!

I really love how this turned out!! Adding embellishments to the quilted background really makes this card stand out!! Just imagine all of the possibilities!! In fact, I have another card using this background die next week!!
