Fave Chick

Hey there, Katie here today.  I am soooo ready for spring, so I decided to pull out the Slimline Chicks Stamp Set and make something springy for today. 

This card couldn’t be simpler.  I stamped the Slimline Chicks image with my Misti on Copic friendly paper with my Io3 Hybrid Blackout Ink. It took a fair amount of coloring with Copics and adding white gel pen highlights, but other than that easy peasy.  I added a few strips of paper that looked like a chicken wire and picnic blanket to my white base and my image on top.  The twine is just for fun.  I did add some glossy accents to the glasses of our studious chick friend.  Like I said, pretty simple. 

I just love the funny little faces and the different details.  The red combs make me smile and again, those glasses.  I added eyelashes to the yellow girl chick in front. 

So which chick is your favorite?   I am dying to know.
