Thank You So Mush – Use Your Scraps

Hi everyone!

Ilina here! Happy Wednesday. Today I have a fun card for you showing you how you can use line image stamp without coloring, but using colored card stock. Also if you have a stack of scraps this is perfect technique to use those scraps.

I like cutting my leftover paper and cardstock scraps in thin strips and putting them in pouches for future use. I love using strips in my cards whether for the entire background or just elements.

To make the card today I started with a piece of white card stock that I covered with double sided adhesive and then trimmed to A2 size, with bunch of thin strips of cardstock and gray card stock for my background and the Porta-Hello stamp set.6

I used two pieces of gray card stock, one measured 4 1/4″ x 1 1/2″ and the second one ~3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ (we can always trim it off it it’s too tall). To make the background start by removing the backing of the double sided tape, adhere the 1 1/2″ strip of the gray card stock, adhere 8 strips of card stock, then the larger gray piece of card stock. Trim off the excess.

Stamp the image and sentiment using Versamark ink. Then emboss in white.

Die cut the panel using the Modern Embossed Rectangle stack dies. Then using foam tape , craft foam or few stacked pieces of card stock to add dimension adhere to a top folding white note card and you are done!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Hope you have an amazing day!
