Stretch Your Stamps…Adding Elements
Looking for a way to stretch your favorite stamp sets?
Of course you are because more cards are always better! LOL!
A simple way to get more from your favorite sets is to add a little element or two!
The Seasonal Sweetheart set has so many fun accessories that the possibilities are almost endless but inspired by the weather outside my window, I wanted to create a rainy day card.
Her little coat & boots are perfect for rain when colored yellow and the fabulous design of the coordinating die cut – cutting out her hands to hold things – made it so easy to add an umbrella (borrowed from another set in my collection).
To complete the rainy day look, I used my Copics to color a little puddle. Now I am no illustrator but I think I managed a simple puddle ok. I’m actually pretty happy with it.
My challenge to all of you who feel like you can’t draw either, just add a really simple element to your next card! Start small like puddle and you will surprise yourself!
