Spring Fling Florals – 2 Ways

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today to share a card I created using a couple of stamp sets from Trinity Stamps. I’m really enjoying the versatility of the sentimini sets and I used two of them today, Hello Sentimini and the Thank You sentimini along with the Spring Fling Florals.

I used the Spring Fling Florals to create two different cards that are the same in concept but different in execution.

For the both of them, I placed a lot of the smaller floral images on a large stamp block and stamped them all over covering up two card panels. I then went in with three distress inks and blended the colors on both panels.

My Hello card focuses on the floral images as silhouettes. I went in with a black alcohol marker and colored in the entire image. For the sentiment, I stamped on black cardstock and heat embossed using a bright white embossing powder. I love how this card turned out.

My second card was very simple as I didn’t need to do anything additional, I only stamped the Thank You sentiment on vellum and heat embossed in white. I needed a way for the sentiment to pop on the busy background and I find that vellum always helps do that.

If you’re curious about watching the process, I have a video showing all the steps of creating both cards over on the Trinity Stamps YouTube. Go ahead and check it out. Make sure you subscribe so you keep up with the inspiration for all things Trinity Stamps.

Thanks for stopping by! I’ll be back to share more cards with you soon!
