Rainy Days Together: One Stamp, Three Ways with Designer Emily M.

Hello Friends! Happy Monday and welcome to this month’s One Stamp Three Ways post. I’m sharing three cards using the Rainy Days Together Stamp Set and Coordinating Dies along with the Cloudy Day A-2 Card Scene Builder Die Set.

The Supplies:

For all three cards, I went with a Rainbow Theme because you can’t have a rainbow without a little rain. I used an assortment of Copics for the Rain or Shine and Little Duck card and Chameleon Colored Pencils for the Rainy Days are best spent together card.

For the stamping I used Distress Inks for the Together sentiment, all other sentiments are stamped in VersaFine Clair Ink in Nocturne. For a little extra pop, I added Puffy Cloud Confetti Mix and Puddle Jumping Blue Raindrop Confetti Mix to each of the cards.

Little Umbrellas

These little ducklings and their perfectly sized matching umbrellas are way too cute! These little guys are my absolute favorite little. I thought they would look cute floating through the air with their rainbow umbrellas. This design would also be great for a baby shower card!

To create the rainbow Together sentiment, I added Distress Inks with my sponge daubers directly to the stamp, then made my impression and die cut “Together” with its coordinating die.

Rainy Days Are Best Spent Together

I thought it would be fun to do an inside/outside card…I have no idea what the technical cardmaking term is but basically all of the images are stamped, die cut and placed on the inside of the card. From the outside of the card, you see the girl and her rainbow umbrella and the sentiment “Rainy Days are best spent” using the negative opening created from the die cut image of the girl and her umbrella. When you open the card there are few more surprise friends that have joined the puddle jumping party along with the remainder of the sentiment: Together.

I’n Here for you Rain or Shine

For this card front, I did a lot of die cutting but the Cloudy Day A-2 Card Scene Builder Die Set makes it so easy to create dimension to the card. I used the negative die cutting technique like above but this time I added all the Cloudy Scene and negative card panel and clouds foam tape for extra dimension.

Rain or Shine We’re In This Together

So there we are friends, three rainbow-themed cards using the Rainy Days Together Stamp Set. I hope you enjoyed this post and all the fun ways you can use this one stamp set. So many great sentiments and absolutely darling images.
