SPOOKTAULAR Tea Cup Shaped A2 Card!!

Hello Crafty Friends!!

Larissa here today to share a Spooky Halloween Partially Shaped Coffee Card!! If you’re a Coffee Fanatic then you’ll know that National Coffee Day is on Sept. 29th and in the Crafting community that means another reason to CELEBRATE ALL THINGS Coffee!! The Coffee Loving Carmakers Blog has been Spotlighting different Companies ALL Week and Trinity Stamps is one of those “SUPER SPONSORS”!! So if you MISSED the Post you can fins it HERE!!

I Started my Card by Die Cutting the Trini-Tea Cup Card Die from some Simple Stories Gingham Patterned Paper, but ANY patterned Paper would work here!! You could also create your OWN Patterned Paper by using a Stencil!! Next I Cut the Trini-Tea Die in Half (cutting where the Cup Handles Fold) so I could just work on the Front Tea Cup Image!! Then I Sprayed the back side of the NEW Slimline Forest Layered Stencil Set with Pixie Spray and then Firmly Placed the First Stencil over my Tea Cup and pressed it firmly into place!! I Inked with Black Soot Distress Ink!!

I removed the First Stencil and then placed the 2nd Stencil and Inked Second Tree and then Placed the 3rd Stencil and Inked the Third Tree all with Black Soot Distress Ink!! TIP: You can use these Layering Stencil Sets for SO MANY Card Sizes!! Just because they’re sized for a Slimline Card doesn’t mean that you LIMITED to just Slimline Designs!! Think Outside of the BOX!!

Next I used the Trini-Tea Layered Tea Layering Stencil Set!! I Added some White Pigment Ink for some Highlights and used some Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the Coffee and Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink for Shading!! This step isn’t necessary, but I LOVE the Dimension it adds to the Tea Cup!! SWOON!!

Next I worked on the Jack-O-Lantern that I wanted to add to the front of my Tea Cup!! I Started by Die Cutting a Circle from the Modern Embossed Edge Circle Stack Die Set!! Then I used the NEW Pumpkinhead Layering Stencil Set!! SQUEAL!! This Stencil Set is just AMAZING!! SO MANY Possibilities on its own, but there’s also a coordinating Pumpnkinhead Die Set to make the possibilities even more ENDLESS!! I Started by Spraying the Stencil with Pixie Spray and then I Placed it in the Center of my Die Cut Circle and pressed it firmly into place!! Then I Ink the Main Pumpkin Body Image with Distress Oxide ink in Ripe Persimmon!! I Removed the Stencil and Cleaned it and then lined up the next Layer and Inked with Crackling Campfire Distress Oxide Ink!!

For the last a Final Layer I Inked with Rusty Hinge Distress Oxide Ink!! The Stem was Inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and the shadow was Inked with Ground Espresso Distress Oxide Ink!! Lastly the Face was Inked with Black Soot Distress Ink and I lust LOVE the way this Jack-O-Lantern comes to LIFE!!

Here’s a Close up of the Finished Tea Cup after I adhered the Stencile Jack-O-Lantern Circle in the center of the Tea Cup!! I wanted a FUN Shaped Card Panel so I adhered the Tea Cup to the Center of the A2 Card Panel that was adhered to an A2 Cardbase!!

I Inked a Rectangle Die Cut from the Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack Die Set with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink, Prized Ribbon Distress Oxide Ink and Black Soot Distress Oxide Ink!! Then add some Splatters of Water for some Dimension!! I adhered a part of the Tea Cup Handle to the backside of the Inked Panel and to create the Card Front and then adhered the Panel to the White A2 Cardbase!! A few of the Black Eyed Baubles finish off the Design with even more Dimension and some Shine!!

So there you have a Look at the NEW Slimline Forest Layered Stencil Set, Pumpkinhead Layering Stencil Set and coordinating Pumpnkinhead Die Set!!  I hope I’ve inspired you on some different ways to use them together with some of your other FAVORITE Trinity Stamps Products!!
