Sending Snail Mail

Happy Friday friends!! It’s Brenda from MyPaperCut Creations here with you today!! How was your Valentine’s Day? I hope it was filled with lots of love!!

I’m sure you’ve seen several projects by now with the newest stamp set, Mr. Snailman. I had colored it several times (it sure is a fun set to color!), and finally got a chance to put a card together.I began by stamping all of the images from Mr. Snailman onto white cardstock with Momento Tuxedo Black Ink. After coloring them with Copics, I fussy cut them out. After I fussy cut, I usually run a black marker along the cut edge. This gives a more finished look to the images.

I die-cut the grass twice from Bristol paper and used my Blendability Brushes to apply Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks onto them. Using the Blendability Brushes again, I blended Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Ink with a cloud stencil onto a Bristol panel that was trimmed slightly smaller than an A2 size cardbase. The panel was adhered to a black scalloped die-cut. The sentiment, also from Mr. Snailman, was stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne Ink. After adhering all of the elements, a sprinkling of Candy Apple Heart Sprinkles finished off the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

Have a fabulous weekend!!! I’ll see you next Friday!!!
