Birthday Card with Mr. Snailman

BirthdaySnailman

Hi there, Christine here, with a birthday card with Trinity Stamps Mr. Snailman to show you how versatile this stamp set is.  You can use it for Valentine’s Day, birthdays, Christmas, get better cards, happy mail and just because cards!

First I stamped all the images from the “Mr. Snailman”, “Rhino Bird Day” (birds & balloon) and “Let Love Grow” (happy birthday) stamp sets with Momento black ink.  I fussy cut some images and others were die cut.

Next I used the awesome blendability brushes to blend out dried marigold & spun sugar distress oxide inks on a stitched cut panel- I love the blended color where they overlap!

Next, I copic colored all the images- here are some of the colors I used:

I have a very limited supply of copics- so I often have to blend 2 colors (or sometimes 3) to get the final color I want, but it is worth it.  Copics are my favorite coloring tool and I’ll slowly add to my collection.  Don’t worry if you only have a few copics, just blend like I do and you’ll be fine!

Finally I adhered all the images in place with some double sided tape and adhered some “Fairy Rocks” gem stones with Gina K connect glue for some shine.

That’s it! Easy Peasy! Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great day 🙂
