Letterpressed Floral

Hi there, Christine here with a letterpresses floral shaker card that uses Trinity Stamps Mug of Florals Cut and Foil die set and Double Line Check Background Stamp with the new acetate pouches A-2 Flat Acetate Shaker Pouches.

I used the new Betterpress system with Trinity Stamps’ foiling plate and it worked beautifully!  I used the yellow Betterpress ink with the Mug of Florals Cut and Foil die set and letterpress paper that I had in my stash (it was thicker, which may be why it works) and then die cut it out.  I did simple copic coloring and I’m thrilled with how it turned out! Topics are not the best for coloring on letterpress paper- they do not blend as easily so I kept the coloring minimal.

I stamped some yellow cardstock with yellow ink in my stash and the Double Line Check Background Stamp to just created a muted background so that the mug with florals would be the star of the card.  I used an acetate pouch, filled it withe sparkly embellishments from Trinity Stamps , sealed it and then adhered the floral mug to it.

I added some Trinity Stamps rainbow glitter dots to the centers of the flowers and then finished the card off with a sentiment using the Simply Sentimental You stamp & die set.

I hope that you like it! Thank you for stopping by!
