Hello Trinity Stamps! Silvia’s back today with a new Christmas/Winter inspiration from the latest release. Today I showcase the wonderful “Layered Pine Forest” stencil…how cool is it?!
I started cutting a white panel with one of the biggest die from “Modern Embossed A-7 Layers” set: I then used the biggest oval from “A-2 Foundations: Oval” stencil to mask my card base and I started by ink blending a bit of speckled egg Distress Oxide ink on top. I then added my layered pine forest from the light colors and I used (in order) milled lavander, victorian velvet, seedless preserved, wilted violet and dusty concord Distress Oxide inks. Next I removed the oval stencil and I darkened edges with walnut stain Distress Oxide ink.
I splattered with clean water and walnut stain ink loosened with water.
I then die cut all the pieces I needed to build my snowman from “Happy Snowman” set, I glued them on the card and I splattered with picket fence Distress paint to create a snow falling effect.
I then cut twice the “joy” words from “Big Joy Cut & Foil” die sset in brown, I glued one above the ather and I added to the card and that’s all.
I’m really happy of how this card turned out and I love so much the vintage look of it…I hope you like it too.
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Big hugs, Silvia.
