Hey Pumpkin… a classic and simple card with easy copic coloring.
Hi Friends, thank you so much for coming back to another blog post by me.
This week I am showcasing this super elegant, yet simple card I made using the Pick of the Patch stamp set and some super easy copic coloring.
I started out by stamping my images on a piece of 3.75×4.75 piece of copic friendly cardstock, using ink on 3 Blackout ink.
Now it was time for my favorite part of this card, copic coloring. I have attached pictured here showing you the colors of markers I used for each step, however, the pumpkin is already colored yellow with Y23 to begin with and I didn’t get a picture of that step. I do all of my coloring in 2 different layers, I feel like I get a better color payout by applying a second coat of all of the colors and it looks more vibrant when I am done.
For the stems and leaves combo I went with YG99 YG97 and YG93 and again I did two layers. After I was done coloring all three pumpkins I added an outline around all of the pumpkins using B00.
The coloring was the “hard” part of the card, believe it or not. this was such an easy card to make. The last thing I did after stamping the sentiment under the right pumpkin was glue my panel to a couple of layers that were 1/8 of an inch bigger than the layer on top of it, and that was it.
I love how this card turned out. I could have added some embellishments to it but I wanted the pumpkins to shine on their own, they are just beautiful as is.
thank you so much for reading my post today, I hope I was able to inspire you and that you’ll get your stamps out and make something pretty with them. If you do, please tag me and Trinity Stamps so we can all see it.
Until next time… take care.
This card is so very cute. Love the colors. You have such a great talent.
