Blessed Season

Hey friends!  Are you ready for some good old fashioned fall fun?!  Here goes!

Today’s card features the Slimline Maple Leaf Die.  Instead of die cutting it, I used it to emboss with.  First though, I used distress inks (Mustard, Citron, Barn Door, Pumpkin and Burlap) to distress my panel with my Blending Buddy.  Then I ran it through my die cutting machine with the die.  Once I had the base, I used the Cut and Foil Maple Leaf Die with some gold glitter paper and adhered it to the top.  I used a bit of the gold paper under the edges of the panel as well to create a little extra shimmer and dimension.  Next, I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Breeze Stamp Set in brown on some olive cardstock and die cut it out using the Slimline Stitched Strips and popped it up using foam tape.  Lastly, I added some sequins using a fall colored mix and some glue dots.

Here is a closeup of the gold, I love how it turned out.

This was a quick post today, but hope you enjoyed it and thanks for visiting!
