Gnome for the Holidays

Happy Tuesday!  Today is a special day, my kiddo turns 13.  It is hard to imagine it has come already.

But you aren’t here for that.  You are here to see a fun card, so here it is…

It is so fun, it is a slider card.  Santa gnome is just cruising on a frosty breeze in his automobile. Not a traditional ride, but fun none-the-less.

Here is how I made this one:

I started by stamping Gnome for the Holidays set on Copic friendly paper and colored with my copics.  Once done, I cut it out. Next, I used the Slimline Stitched Card Panels to cut the snowflake paper layer.  I used a small bit of the Slimline Twist and Slide Die Set to create the slider element.  Then, I used the Slimline Rainbow Builder die for the “frosty breeze.”  I traced the shape on vellum and I added some Distress Oxide with my Blending Buddy to create the frosty feel.  I also used it for the clouds along the top and bottom.  I used the 4 Bar Die for the sentiments. Lastly, I added some snowflakes.  A few of which I colored red.

Isn’t he just just the cutest?!  I love this guy!

I hope you enjoyed this post, thanks for visiting me here. ~Katie
