Gnome Coffee Bunny

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today with Trinity Stamps sharing a card using a coffee themed card today while incorporating the new release from Saturday.

Since it is now officially Spring, I pulled out the Summertime Sips die set because it is the time of year where I lean towards iced drinks. I went ahead and cut out the main cup, lid, and the straw.

The easiest way to incorporate any theme for a coffee card is to decorate the coffee cup, which is what I did. I used the eggs and hearts in the Gnome Bunny stamp set to decorate it. Since I was doing a mix of die cuts and stamps, I wanted the same look for both so I went with no line coloring.

There’s a stamp for him to hold an egg or to hold a chick but I just wanted his hands so he could hold the straw, which I included and will fussy cut out. The idea was that he’d sit on top of the coffee drink and sip out of the straw.

For the sentiment, I used the main one from the Gnome Bunny stamp set and took the ampersand from the Let Your Light Shine stamp set. I wanted the sentiment to read “Gnome Bunny Loves You & Coffee More Than Me”. Since it is a coffee themed card, I wanted to emphasize the coffee part, so I pulled out the Graham Cracker Alphabet to cut out the word “Coffee”. I love this die set for custom sentiments!
