Crafty Troop Winner and a Little Christmas Spirit

Hi friends! We forgot to announce the winner of last month’s Craft Troop Challenge so I’m popping in really quick to take care of that wonderful business before sharing my card today! Drum roll please….

The winner is Liz Ford!

Liz, please email Katie at katie@trinitystamps.com to claim your prize.

Thank you so much to everyone who played along!

Now, if you’d like to keep scrolling with me, I’m got some fun Christmas joy to share in the form of a slimline shaker card!

Today I’ve got this super cute shaker card to share featuring the Comfort and Joy stamps and dies for my main image and the Scripty Christmas dies for a bold sentiment to catch your eye! In the background, I heat embossed the All Spruced Up pine needles in gold over a distress oxide ink blended panel. Using the frame from the Slimline Frame and Fold I turned it all into a fun shaker card!

In typical fashion, my gnome was colored with copic markers and then I added white gel pen dots to his hat for a little added interest. I just love how that turned out.

I die cut the scripty words 3 times from red cardstock and glued them together, then added them to the shadow cut from vellum. I think vellum is my very favorite thing to use for the shadow of die cut words. It’s there but it doesn’t take away from the sentiment. It’s just perfect.

I appreciate you sharing your time with me. Have a fabulous day!
