Cozy merry Christmas
Hi there! Silvia’s here today with a cozy Christmas slimline card to share with you.
I love the new “Hip to be Square” slimline die ’cause it’s perfect for shaker cards and to make textured backgrounds. Today I used it to create a very big window in my bear’s house.
I started stamping images from “Cozy Bear” and “Cozy Christmas Cottage” stamp sets, I colored them with alcohol markers and I die cut them with coordinating dies (here and here).
I then die cut the “Hip to be Square” twice from textured brown cardstock, I glued one piece on the other and I added a piece of vellum on the back. I also cut a slimline panel from a light blue patterned paper and I used it to create the sky behind the window.
Then I built up my scene using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape and I added some “snow” on the window with a white gel pen. Sentiment is from the “Merry Christmas senti-mini” stamp set. To decorate the Christmas tree I used the new and amazing “Gold Baubles” embellishment mix.
That’s all for today and I hope you enjoy this card as much as I do, ’cause I really had a lot of fun making it.
Thank you so much for stopping by and have an amazing day. Hugs, Silvia.
What a darling card! I just love it!
Thank you so very much Denise.
I like your frosted snow ❄ Windows and the paneling under the windows! This just shows how versatile this die is. What a lovely and cozy scene. I look forward to some moments like this. Thanks Silvia for sharing this with us!!!😍😍😍
Thank you so much dear Liz.
