Birthday Shaker with Katie
Hi Friends!
Happy Sunday and Happy Easter for those of you that celebrate! I should have thought to make an Easter card today, but how about a birthday card instead?! Here is my card today:
It felt appropriate to have a shaker cake because it was the perfect use of the Decorate-A-Cake set and some of the fun embellishments we have in the store!
To make it, I stamped and colored them cake with my Copics (rainbow style). Then I cut out the middle of the cake and adhered acetate in the gap. Then I added another white layer with the sentiment behind and in between are the Birthday Cake Sprinkle Embellishment Mix and foam tape. I placed it all on this partial embossed white sheet. I also placed a few stamped candles on the page and added a few of these clay twisty candle bits. Lastly I placed it all on white cardstock with some washi tape.
I hope you like it and feel like it is fun! I do. 🙂 Wishing you a happy weekend and happy Easter!
