12 Days of Christmas – Day 2

Hey there, Carrie Rhoades here, sharing with you Day 2 of our 12 Days of Christmas Inspiration! Today’s theme is Christmas Decor! I pulled out the Mini Paper Lantern Die set to make these adorable little lanterns to fit right into my decor around my fireplace. You can see the video tutorial HERE, they are so easy to make! 

If you look closely at this picture you can see the inside, vellum part of this lantern. That piece has snowflakes hot foiled on it, from the Frosty Flakes Cut & Foil set, I just love this added detail. 

Another detail that I love are the Lipstick Red Baubles around the outer edge and the holly and berries at the handle. 

Inside these lanterns I used battery operated LED tea light candles. I love that I can switch up the color of the light in them and love this with a red glow! 

You can easily change these lanterns up for any occasion or decor preference. They would also be cute on a tiered tray or even hung in the tree. Add them to a gift basket,  string up  a bunch for a party, or set them in a window.
