12 Days of Christmas: Day 1 (Mini Felt Wreath)

Katie here today.  Happy Tuesday and Happy December! Trinity is celebrating the holidays with a 12 Days of Christmas Event.  Come visit us each day from Dec. 1st – 14th (excluding Sundays) for special posts each day on our Video Channel and our blog. I have the pleasure of kicking it off on the blog and Jenny is over on the YT channel here

Keep reading for info about prizes, but first, here is my project today:

This sweet little door wreath is about 4 X 4 inches.  I made this by taking two artificial pine wired stems and twisting them together to make a basic wreath shape.  Next, I used a variety of felt with Sweet Holiday Wishes die set and the Seasonal (mini) Cup Decor and More set to create all these fun characters and holiday embellishments.  I reinforced them a bit so they would be a wee bit more rigid with a little paper backing.  After I had them put together, I tacked them down with a hot glue gun.  Then I added some baubles to my tree and some embellishments to the scene.  Specifically, I used Deck the Halls holly berries and Taffy Twist for a little extra fun bling.  Lastly, I added some ribbon and tied it with twine.

Speaking of felt, did you know Benzie Designs has a collection of felt colors specifically for Trinity?!  YEP, check it out.

Anyhoo, I hope you like it, I had fun making it!

Now let’s talk GIVEAWAYS!

We will give away two $75 gift certificates AND two $50 gift certificates for a total of $250 in GIVEAWAYS!  It is our way of saying Happy Holidays to you and sharing our appreciation to our wonderful customers!

Winners will be chosen using Random.com from those who comment throughout.  The more comments you leave, the better your chances to win!  They will be announced between 12/15 and 12/20 on the blog and YT channel.

Thanks so much for visiting and have a great day!  ~Katie

  1. What a beautiful wreath love the way that y’all made it and love how y’all show a different way to use the dies on other projects

  2. This wreath is really neat, its a cool way to showcase the dies that you used and they are a really nice size for this wreath

  3. Your wreath is absolutely adorable, Katie! Love the warmth the felt gives and oh, those images! Sweetness galore!

  4. Such a cutie! Just yesterday my groomer reminded me of a wreath I made her 15 years ago that she still hangs. This will be a memory too!

  5. Katie, super sweet wreath and I like the idea of making it with the twisting of the pine and the super cute felt faces! And baubbles! Such a cute idea and I think this is a great idea for my homeschool son—a project for remembering this year! Hope you don’t mind if I copy it! TFS!😍❄⛄❄😍
