You Make Me Happy

Hi everyone! It’s Jeannie (InsideoutJeans) on the blog today celebrating Trinity Stamps’ new release that’s filled with a bunch of stamps, dies, and a TON of embellishments. It’s pretty amazing!!! If you haven’t checked out the design team’s blog hop, you should! There’s a ton of inspiration using the new sets!

For today’s card, I’m focusing on the Floral Cross stamp set and using it in a different way. I decided to create a horizontal card and used the middle part of the cross to stamp the borders for the card. It was also ok to not be perfect because I’ll be covering up the middle portion anyway.

I colored the borders in using alcohol markers consisting of blues and purples. I decided to trim down a piece of black cardstock to be placed in the center. I stamped out some of the standalone florals as well so I could decorate the middle portion.

First, I needed to decide which sentiment to use for this card. There were three Sentimini (get it?!) sets to choose from in this new release, and I think all three are so versatile! For today’s card, I used the Happy Sentimini and heat embossed it in gold embossing powder. Gold is my favorite to stand out against the black cardstock.

To finish off this card, I decorated the middle part of the card with the standalone floral images.

I really love how this card came together and I hope you’ve been enjoying all the new items and get inspired to create. I have a project to share with you today using the new release!

Thanks for stopping by! Come back again soon for some more inspiration and ideas!
