You are sweet

Hello crafty friends! Silvia’s here today with a sweet Summer card!

I started die cutting the biggest panel from the “Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack” set from white cardstock and I colored  it ink blending salvaged patina and peacock feathers Distress Oxide inks through the “Good Morning Sunshine” stencil. I darkened edges with vintage photo Distress Oxide ink and I splattered with tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paint.

I then used the new and so gorgeus “Ice Cream Cone” die set to die cut all the pieces I need to build up my cones. I die cut the ice-creams from two different pink textured cardstock and the cone from kraft cardstock.

I then darkened all my die cut pieces with Distress Oxide inks and I splattered them with tone on tone inks and white and gold acrylic paints. I also used some drops of the fabulous saltwater taffy Distress Paint!

For the sentiment I die cut the word SWEET with the “Modern Embossed Alphabet” die set from white cardstock and I ink blended them with squeeze lemonade and fossilized amber Distress Oxide inks.

I put everything together using a mix of liquid glue and foam tape, I added some “Shooting Sparkle Stars” here and there and that’s all.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you’ll enjoy the card!

I wish you an amazing day and send you big hugs, Silvia.
