You Are SunSational Clean and Simple Card

Ilina here! Today I am sharing more inspiration using the SunSetional stamp from Love, Dani. I think the Design Team has been on same wave length this week 😉 

I decided to go with a clean and simple look focused on coloring and let the image take center stage. 

To make the card start by stamping the image on Copic card stock using alcohol marker friendly ink. Tip to prevent smearing of hte ink:  set the image aside for few minutes to make sure that the ink is completely dry or use your heat tool for few seconds.

 

Once the ink is dry use your Copics, or any other alcohol markers or other coloring medium of your choice to color the image. I used the following colors:

Sun center and the word Sun: Y38, Y35, Y32,

Sun rays and rest of the sentiment: Y26, Y13, Y02, Y11, Y00,

Hearts: RV17, RV14, RV13, RV11, RV10,

Clouds:B02, B01, B00, B000 and B0000

Once the image is colored, use the Modern Embossed Rectangle Stack dies to die cut it. To add dimension use craft foam, foam tape or stack few die cuts the same size of scrap card stock and adhere on the back. I prefer the scrap card stock panels method, as the cards hold up much better when they go through the mail. 

Adhere to a yellow note card to finish it off!
