Watercolors + Stacking Cutting Dies | Trinity Stamps

Hello friends! Today I’m up at Trinity Stamps blog sharing this watercolor card. I’m featuring the Let Love Grow and Hello Sweet Friend stamps. For the watercoloring, I’m using Altenew Watercolors.

Let’s start! I stamped my florals onto watercolor paper with Versamark ink and heat embossed them using WOW Sensational Sage embossing powder.

Then, I started to paint the images using green and yellow shades of the Altenew watercolors.

Once I finished and the painting was dried, I die cut the images using the coordinating dies.

My next step was, using white cardstock I die cut 4 times a window frame and glued each frame on top of each other.

For my background, I adhered a white cardstock panel to a green card base.

I added the stacked window frame on top of my background, then stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black ink and heat embossed it using WOW Clear glossy embossing powder.

Finally, I added the florals around the window frame using glue.

Lastly, I decided to add some color to the inside of each window in order to make every image to pop up a little bit. For this step, I used Distress Oxide Squeezed Lemonade ink.

This was my card for today. I really love the final result and the Sensational Sage embossing powder gives a wonderful shimmer to every floral in this card.
