Valentine’s Day Card Ideas: Embossing, Flowers & Pink Hearts

Hello, crafty friends!

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, I couldn’t resist diving into some heart-filled crafting. Today, I’m sharing a simple card. Let’s take a closer look at how this project came together.

This card features a gorgeous heart as the focal point, set against a soft floral background. I wanted to keep the design elegant yet playful, combining shimmer and texture for a romantic vibe. I used the Swirly Heart Die Set to cut out the intricate gold frame. To make the inner heart shine, I embossed it with WOW Halo Embossing Powder. This powder adds a stunning iridescent sparkle that catches the light beautifully. For the background, I used the Sketchy Florals 4×6 Stamp Set. I stamped the floral pattern repeatedly using white pigment ink and heat-embossed it for a raised effect. To add depth, I blended shades of pink ink over the embossed pattern, creating an ombré effect that highlights the florals.

This card was such a joy to create, and I hope it inspires you to bring a little handmade love to someone special this Valentine’s Day. Thanks for stopping by! I’d love to hear your thoughts on this design or see your own Valentine’s Day creations.

Happy crafting!
